so we’re back and semi-settled in from what turned into a 10 hour drive yesterday.  two separate accidents on 77N put a damper on the amazing time we had been making after a 4am departure.  oh well.  we got to see some beautiful scenery on back country roads (after getting off the interstate to avoid said 77N accidents).

all in all it was good we pushed our departure back from saturday morning.  i had come down with the plague on late thursday and was a walking zombie on friday and saturday.  feeling much better now.  even got to watch my hokies play on saturday afternoon.  and time well spent with the family. also got our christmas cards ordered.  such productivity.
